Exploitation of Bauhinia forficata residual fruit powder for the adsorption of cationic dyes

This paper analyzes the adsorption of two potential toxic dyes, i.e. methylene blue (MB) and crystal violet (CV) onto Bauhinia forficata residual fruit powder (BFRFP) as a new promising adsorbent. The experiments aimed at retrievement data are carried out T = 298–328 K coupled with an adsorbent characterization to better highlight MB CV dyes mechanism. capacity saturation (ACS) varies from 181.48 201 mg.g−1, while for dye, it ranges 263.06 282.61 mg.g−1. difference is not very significant but reflects that BFRFP has higher affinity remove dye. Comparing some alternative adsorbents, shows be competitive material removal polluted water. A model assuming removed via formation layers on chosen one that, physical point view, interpret their mechanisms. prediction number adsorbed approximately equal 1 both testifying they without aggregation process slanted position. generates energies describe interactive effects between (dye- BFRFP) (dye-dye).
